PLEASE NOTE that BCHLA is a grass-roots, non-governmental support and lobby group for those parents who homeschool outside of the publicly-funded learning system and under Div. 4, Sec's. 12-14 of the BC School Act. We are therefore unable to give any aide with questions regarding public school distance learning program options, positions as online teachers, or program recommendations, etc.. Due to time constraints of our volunteers, questions regarding public DLP's may not be acknowledged or answered as questions regarding Section 12 homeschooling take priority.
We do, however, offer extensive information on the appropriate sections of our website that deal with publicly-funded home learning options and have many links on our Helpful Links for Ministry of Education distance learning pages that may help and/or give you contact information regarding those options.
